Sensitivity ~70% | Specificity ~79% for sepsis organ dysfunction in non-ICU suspected infection
Important: qSOFA ≥2 should trigger full SOFA calculation and clinical escalation. qSOFA is a screening tool — it has lower sensitivity than full SOFA. A negative qSOFA does NOT exclude sepsis. Always apply clinical judgement.
