PSI Class I requires: male <50 years old, no comorbidities, no nursing home residence, normal vitals, normal mental status.
PSI/PORT is more complex than CURB-65 but provides more granular risk stratification, especially for lower-risk patients. Preferred by many guidelines for outpatient vs. inpatient decisions.
