Cardiac Output — Fick Method

CO, CI, SV, SVR, and PVR from right heart catheterization data

Overview

The Fick principle states that cardiac output equals oxygen consumption divided by the arteriovenous oxygen difference. Used during right heart catheterization to precisely quantify hemodynamic parameters.
